I find blogging difficult to sustain. I have started and stopped several times. For me, it has to be a project with a beginning and an end, not an ongoing activity.
Between 2012 and 2014, I kept a blog called Followership Found – Leadership Regained. It started after one of my sermons caught the eye of Ira Chaleff, who has written a few books about followership, the complement of leadership, a role – and discipline – in itself. Mr. Chaleff cited my definition of followership in his book The Art of Followership, and later The Christian Century magazine did the same. I edited the final post of that blog to make it a finished project, and have preserved it as a chronicle of my 15 minutes of fame.
I post my sermons delivered at First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Orleans here.
